RJ THE DJ

Romeo George, known professionally as “RJ The DJ,” has been captivating audiences for nearly twenty years. He began his career in 2008 as a Radio and Television Presenter with Clouds Media, one of Tanzania’s largest and most esteemed media outlets.

Born on August 16, 1988, Romeo entered the media industry at a young age. He quickly excelled as a Radio and Television Presenter and sought to broaden his career horizons. In his spare time, Romeo shadowed experienced entertainers, learning from some of the industry’s finest. He is self-taught on the turntables and proficient with various modern DJ applications.

RJ’s passion for entertaining has made him a remarkable all-around entertainer. He is the Official DJ for Diamond Platnumz, Tanzania’s most prominent musical export. RJ has opened for and performed alongside Diamond Platnumz worldwide, in numerous countries across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Additionally, RJ the dj has performed solo for audiences in clubs, arenas, and stadiums, building a devoted fanbase. He aspires to be recognized among the world’s top DJs and has won numerous accolades, including “Best DJ” at the Bongo Music Awards, AEA USA Awards, EAEA Awards, and Zikomo Awards.

RJ has also ventured into acting, appearing in various local Tanzanian shows. His most notable role was as “Bill Junior” on the popular TV show “Jua Kali.” He has consistently graced television screens across Tanzania and Africa, taking on various roles.

Through his diverse talents and philanthropic efforts, RJ The DJ continues to inspire and uplift communities, solidifying his legacy as a multifaceted entertainer and humanitarian.
